Now, when you come to Texas, you gonna need some place to eat. But it always depends what you want to eat? Italian, BBQ, fast food, seafood, breakfast, burgers, desserts. You name it, we've got it!
Now lets start off with Italian…
There is only one place where you will have to wait at least 15 minutes before you can get a table. But it's totally worth it. Can you guess what it is? Yep that's right! ‘Olive Garden’ (If you don't like olives there's other stuff too.). The number 1 best Italian food in the state! The bread sticks at Olive Garden are divine! Always served warm and so soft but crunchy on the inside.
Seriously a place you need to go to if you also want a bowl of a green garden salad. Served with freshly picked tomatoes and homemade croutons.
But maybe you don’t like salad or pasta? Maybe the only reason you want to come to Texas is for the real food. Yeah that’s right! I’m talking about BBQ. But not just any barbecue restaurant. I’m talking about ‘Rudy’s’. Just passing by the restaurant makes you want to turn around and go in for just a quick bite of the old time famous, Rudy’s chopped beef sandwiches. That's what Texas is all about. The steak, the ribs, the chicken, the t-bone, the tenderloin, the dog. It’s almost better than my JJ’s mash potatoes and Pop’s chicken fried steak(and I didn't even think that was possible).
How about seafood? You want some freshly catch shrimp or fried fish? Then come on down to ‘Catfish Parlor’ Where the fish are snappin and the root bears are crack-a-lackin’.
But you can't come to Texas without having a little Tex-Mex can you? And there is only one place were you can have Tex-Mex were you will be walking out of the restaurant feeling fat and happy. "Chuy's" - the only restaurant where the name has meaning to it. It starts off with the freshly made qasso and ends with the mouth falling off enchiladas (Mouth falling off meaning hot hot hot!!!).
So those are the top three restaurants to go and visit. If you really want more then pop into any restaurants on the side of the road, you won't be disappointed ( But if you are, blame the restaurant, not me!!!)
